<description descriptionType="Abstract">This repository contains the Python scripts to generate and analyze the numerical data for the paper “Fast and robust detection of single Rydberg excitations in mesoscopic ensembles” by S. Schmidt, A. Thielmann, T. Niederprüum and H. Ott. The scripts set up and diagonalizes the Hamiltonian of the system discussed in the paper with externally variables specified in the initialization. The eigenvalues and eigenstates of the system can be plotted or saved in the h5 file format for further analysis. To extract the presented performance indicators, the probing of the system is implemented and can be calculated for a range parameters. With this data, all images of the paper can be reproduced.</description>
